Alam and his crew at MAM Contracting did an outstanding job on the long‑overdue maintenance of our Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn brownstone’s front façade. The exterior had unfortunately been neglected for years, and was left in rough shape and weather‑worn. With the winter of 2025/2026 being especially brutal, the cracking and decay seemed worse than ever. The team approached the repairs with meticulous care and attention to detail. After completing the prep work, they applied Thorocoat sealer paint in a color we absolutely love, which completely revitalized the façade. The finish is strong, protective, and vibrant, giving the home a refreshed, updated look that stands out on the block.

From start to finish, communication was excellent. Though English isn’t his first language, Alam was always reachable and went to great lengths to ensure he explained every step with care and confidence. They stayed completely on schedule showing up on time (and even early) everyday as indicated (and weather permitting), and ultimately delivered exactly as promised. The crew was professional, organized, and left the site spotless each day. Their craftsmanship and reliability were outstanding, and the results exceeded our expectations. We’re good over here now until we’re ready to finally completely re-do the façade, at which time, we’ll certainly be calling Alam and team back for a quote.

If you’re looking for top‑quality façade maintenance and painting in NYC, I can’t recommend MAM Contracting and Alam’s team enough. Five stars all the way!

I can’t say enough good things about Mam renovation team. They completely transformed my brownstone in just a few weeks – the results are so stunning that it honestly feels like I’m walking into a brand-new home. I’ve attached pictures to show and it looks way better in reality.

From day 1, the process was handled with the highest level of professionalism. The crew worked incredibly hard, stayed on schedule, and paid attention to every detail. The workers were polite, worked daily and were on time. Communication was always clear, and they made what could have been a stressful project feel seamless and manageable.

What impressed me most was their commitment, not just to getting the job done, but to doing it right. The level of experience, the finishes, and overall quality are outstanding. My home is now modern, beautiful, and built to last.

If you’re looking for a team that combines expertise, professionalism, and work ethic, I can’t recommend them enough. Truly exceptional work! I have been seeing their great work in Carrol gardens brownstones and am not disappointed that I chose them. And AWESOME value.

I don’t have good things about this company. General contractors often mislead on timing and commitment, Alam followed through on everything. Thank you!

MAM tackled roof repairs, parapet fixes, wall cracks and water-proofing for our home, and did great work. I had seen them working on homes throughout Carroll Gardens - it's clear why they are the go-to choice of so many families. Prompt, responsive, reasonably priced - expert advice and follow-through - they have been a pleasure to have at our home. I highly recommend them.

We hired Mam Contracting for our brownstone in Carrol Gardens to redo our outdoor patio, and the results were outstanding. From the beginning, communication was clear and professional. They helped us choose materials that were both high quality and within our budget, offering thoughtful suggestions that enhanced the final design.

The project involved removing our old patio, leveling the base, and installing a new wooden patio for our brownstone house with beautiful black iron around it. Everything was completed within the agreed timeline — just under three weeks from start to finish, which included prep work, installation, and clean-up. For the scale of the job, that was impressive.

We really appreciated the attention to detail: perfect cuts around corners, clean lines, and careful alignment with our existing outdoor. The team showed up consistently, worked full days, and left the space tidy each night.

For the value, we feel like we got a premium result at a fair price. We’ve already received compliments from neighbors, and we’re thrilled with how it turned out.

Highly recommend Mam Contracting for any renovation work. We’ll definitely work with them again when we renovate the inside of the house too!
